António Guterres – Chief of United Nations: Commitment to reduce fuel fossil consumption is truly a genuine need. We must be serious with putting in place the renewable energy at our all living aspect. He reminded all leaders: ‘saying something and doing other thing is lying’
The worst heat wave happened this week in Europe particularly in London & South France. It was a tragedy to all of us as habitants of this planet. This evidence was a confirmation signal, though, it has been alerted for almost three decades. It is truly right that we are all living at this same planet where it is getting hotter and hotter.
Through released video titled ‘The Litany of broken promises’ António Guterres – Chief of United Nations called again leaders’ commitment to reduce the initial problem, as the trend is getting critical and serious. It means consumption of fossil fuels must be reduced radically and replacement with utilizing green energy as agreed at Paris protocol following at COP 26 Glasgow should be in action and progressing actively. He even stressed out a reminder to all leaders involved to respect all commitments made “saying something and doing other thing is lying”
This week we have seen a real evidence which showing not only loss in some part of established infrastructure as happened at London railway system. Another sadness came up once seeing the burning along some part of South France’ forest and certainly including its biodiversity.
For places along equatorial lane like Indonesia, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Sao Tome & Principe, Gabon, Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia Maladewa and Kiribati which stand still far from the boiling point but still carrying practice of burning waste habitude and sometime of what it called land clearing habitude to make a stop immediately. This human behavior must be changed drastically.
This practice is not only dangerous to cause fire at local habitat which means to destroy human habitat, forest, and its biodiversity. The proof said, it has tremendous potential to destroy human health corps immune system particularly at breathing system.
Recent UN Climate Change meeting stressed out the importance of “Peace and Education” as principal corridors to success. Trust most of G7 members have agreed this platform as part of integrated & comprehensive climate change’ solution. The actual facility is set out for India and Indonesia in form of ‘Adaptation Fund’ as found in Final Summit Communique document. All appreciation went to the government of United Kingdom together with Italy and UNESCO who were acting prime facilitators.
Though, it sounds still as a journey to go. This facility gives a concrete promise. It says once ‘Peace’ is well restored, consequently everyone can work cooperatively. The same principal goes with children who are well equipped with good character and right understanding on climate, planet, and its biodiversity. It will be easier for them to comply in full at right manner.
Therefore, education for having good character turns essential and urgent. Meanwhile for existing adults, they must have high sense of responsibility, discipline, emphatic, and high awareness at this actual stage of crisis. Their active participation is highly required in combatting this pressure gap on what it called climate change. It is highly asked that every habitant of this planet to respect all set up procedures which have been measured scientifically by green & blue experts at Paris’ protocol followed by COP 26 Glasgow. Let’s work together to materialize this important aim of our planet for being green & blue.
#TogetherWeCan make real impact.
